The Korean car manufacturer Kia is presenting this year at the IAA in Frankfurt, a new study by a four-door sports car. That for the more down to earth rather unusual concept car Kia wants to score with four seats, opposed to opening doors and rear-wheel drive.
Optical bonds from the Lamborghini Estoque
Responsible for the sports sedans study draws chief designer Peter Schreyer, who wants to open a new chapter in Kia’s product line. Both the exterior and interior designs are sophisticated and the contours of the study show clear lines and give the car a futuristic character. The rear end reminiscent of the Lamborghini Estoque is already strong, which also has a very broad and flat rear end, but long tail lights.
The lateral line is kept very distinctive, striking here are the very flat door handles and a matte black trim on the front pages of the entry. Cult and really eye-catching if it goes into mass production, are mounted on the fender rear-view cameras. This we know already from some other concept cars come, but in this study is really athletic.
It creates the concept car in the series?
At the front, one look at the crescent-shaped headlamps and aggressive among them there are a couple of air vents (at least it looks like), arising from the overlapping wings. As for the grill, so you put here with emphasis on the Kia brand recognition: the typical hexagonal shape is also found at this concept again. Due to this fact gets the sports sedans-one study, at least in the front view of a roundish touch, giving the overall picture is a much more modern touch.
All in all, one would when looking at the study did not believe that the time will be a Kia! It will be interesting to see how it goes with the study.
