New Toyota Highlander 2012

The Toyota Highlander is a midsize crossover SUV produced by Toyota. It is a taller, heavier version of the Toyota Camry.Announced in April 2000 at the New York Auto Show and arriving in late 2000 in Japan and January, 2001, in North America, the Highlander became the first car-based midsize SUV or midsize crossover. The Highlander is the crossover counterpart to the more rugged, truck-based midsize 4Runner and became Toyota's best-selling SUV before being surpassed by the smaller RAV4 in 2006.
Unable to use the Highlander name in Japan and Australia because of a trademarked Hyundai Terracan trim line, Toyota calls the vehicle the Toyota Kluger.

Toyota Hilux 2012

The Toyota Hilux is a series of compact pickup trucks produced and marketed by the Toyota Motor Corporation. Most countries used the Hilux name for the entire life of the series but in North America, the Hilux name was retired in 1976 in favor of Truck, Pickup Truck, or Compact Truck. In North America the popular option package, the SR5 (Sport Rally 5-Speed), was colloquially used as a model name for the truck, even though the option package was also used on other Toyota models like the Corolla. In 1984, the Trekker, the camper version of the Hilux, was renamed as the 4Runner in Australia and North America, and as the Hilux Surf in Japan. In 1995, Toyota introduced a new pickup model, the Tacoma in the United States, discontinuing the Hilux/Pickup there. The 4Runner is now a full SUV, and the more recent models do not resemble the Tacoma.
In spite of the name "Hilux", it was a highly luxurious vehicle only when compared to the Stout. Hilux was engineered and assembled by Hino Motors to fill a niche between the smaller Briska and the larger Stout in most markets or to replace them in some markets. For the North American market, the only body style was a regular cab short bed and all were rear-wheel drive. It used a typical truck setup of A-arms and coil springs in front and a live axle with leaf springs in back. A 4-speed manual transmission was standard.

Toyota Kijang

The Kijang is a pick-up or minibus sold in Indonesia and Brunei, made by Toyota. "Kijang", meaning deer/muntjac in Indonesian, was first introduced in Indonesia in 1977 and it has become the most popular car in the country ever since[citation needed]. This car is also sold in other countries, and is known as the Unser in Malaysia (Innova for the fourth generation), Zace in Taiwan, Qualis and Innova in India, Nepal, and the Philippines, and Stallion and Condor in South Africa. The original Kijang is known as the Revo in the Philippines (see the Revo for the history of the Tamaraw and Tamaraw FX).
It is relatively affordable in the markets where sold when compared to four-wheel drive vehicles (the Kijang is a two-wheel drive) and features high seating capacity, large ground clearance and rugged suspension, popular features in an area with generally poor road quality and large extended families.
In Indonesia, typically the whole extended family climbs in before even short trips, just for the adventure, as opposed to true car-pooling. The family Kijang is treated with love and many get professionally detailed every month[citation needed]. Depending on a person's size, the vehicle can carry as many as 9-15 passengers[citation needed], since many of the countries the Kijang is sold in do not require safety belt usage at that time[citation needed].

Toyota Innova 2011

The Toyota Innova is a Toyota-designed MPV i.e. being less than 4,600 mm (181.1 in) in length as per the European system of size classification, produced in Indonesia under supervision by Toyota Astra Motor since 2003. As with Toyota Kijang, which it replaced, the Toyota Innova is produced and first marketed in 2004 in Indonesia. Toyota Innova is part of Toyota's IMV program together with the Hilux Vigo pickup truck and the Fortuner SUV. Its official name in Indonesia is Toyota Kijang Innova, while for other countries it is simply Innova.

Powering the Innova is either a gasoline 2.0 liter 136 PS (100 kW) 1TR-FE VVT-i, a 2.7 liter (2TR-FE) version of the same, or a 2.5 liter 102 PS (75 kW) 2KD-FTV D4-D common rail variable geometry turbocharger diesel engine. Trim levels are J, E, G, and V. The 2.7 liter is only for the V, with automatic transmission. The Innova features a live rear axle and it is of front engined, rear wheel drive configuration. The newly added V variant adds ABS, leather seats and captain chairs.

Toyota Innova with a facelift

It has a new engine, different from the older Kijang gasoline engine. Unfortunately, while the new engine produces more power (2,000 cc) it is only capable of 6-8 kilometres on a litre of petrol (14.1-18.8 mpg-US). But after the minor change in 2007, the engine is now equipped with a closed loop combustion system, and based on information from the Auto Bild Indonesia test, it is now capable of 11-12 kilometres on one litre of petrol (about 27.0 mpg-US).

The Innova is also sold in India (replacing Toyota Qualis), Malaysia (replacing Toyota Unser), the Philippines (replacing Toyota Revo), Taiwan (replacing outdated Toyota Zace surf), Vietnam (replacing outdated Toyota Zace) and Thailand. Unlike some of the Innova's competition, such as the TATA Sumo Grande, the newly launched Tata Aria, Chevrolet Tavera or the Mahindra Xylo, the Innova looks more like a minivan — in fact, its styling can be said to be similar to Toyota's other MPV offerings, namely the USDM Toyota Sienna and the Toyota Previa. The Toyota Innova is also available in Brunei, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

Toyota Urban Cruiser

The Toyota Urban Cruiser is a mini MPV that is currently produced by Japanese automaker Toyota. It was first introduced in 2008 and is still in production. Toyota Sequoia

The Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV produced by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana in Princeton, Indiana. It is derived from the Toyota Tundra pickup truck but differs in its use of an independent rear suspension. It is priced between the mid-size 4Runner and Toyota's flagship Land Cruiser SUV.
The Sequoia is the largest SUV currently sold under the Toyota name. Both the Sequoia and Land Cruiser seat eight passengers, however the Sequoia is slightly larger than the Land Cruiser, giving it markedly larger leg room for the third row, and more cargo capacity behind its third row. Another difference is that the Sequoia is available in 2WD and its 4WD system is not the permanent 4WD system found in the Land Cruiser. Lastly the Land Cruiser is more luxurious and more upmarket, being the basis for the Lexus LX. As of 2010, the Sequoia is sold exclusively in the United States, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Middle East.

The Sequoia was originally shown in car shows in 1999 and 2000, with full production starting in late 2000 as a 2001 model. Engine, driveline, and some sheetmetal components are shared with the Tundra, and shares the same basic chassis, with the exception of reardisc brakes and a more sophisticated multi-link live axle rear suspension. The Sequoia was nominated for the North American Truck of the Year award for 2001. The Sequoia is slightly longer than the Land Cruiser, however, it is barely noticeable. At introduction it was larger than the Chevrolet Tahoe in most dimensions and similar in size to the Ford Expedition; its V8 engine was certified as Ultra Low Emission Vehicle.

Silver Toyota Sequoia Performance
For the 2010 model year the 4.7-liter V8 is replaced by an all-new 4.6-liter  engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. The SR5 and Platinum trims become mono-spec and the Limited grade offers three stand alone options (navigation system, rear-seat entertainment and seven-passenger seating). Front driver and passenger knee airbags were added as a standard feature. Platinum models get wood trim on the steering wheel and shift gear, and Bluetooth and audio controls are standard on the SR5 trim. The Timberland Mica exterior color gets replaced with the new Camry's Spruce Mica. All audio systems have USB connectivity with iPod integration, and the rear-view mirror on the Limited trim has a built-in rearview camera.
The 2008-2010 Sequoias were part of one of the 2009-2010 Toyota recalls that required the installation of a small shim to relieve unwanted friction and restore fluidity to the accelerator pedal. Early 2003 Sequoias were recalled to reprogram the Vehicle Stability Control system due to the possibility of poor acceleration at certain low speeds. The 2002-3 Sequoia model years also had a defect in the front ball joints.

Toyota Wish 2011

The Toyota Wish was released in 2005. As usual, the car had to do its rounds in Asia mostly Japan, before it hopped into the ship to Africa. Finally it is here. It appeared in Kenya in 2009 and is has taken the country by storm. Were it not for the great sales that the fielder had, it could have been overtaken by the Wish. This is the minivan to eye in the Kenyan market.
Most of these cars are 1.8 L to 2.0 L VVTi engines. This makes it as fuel efficient as the Toyota Premio that is a darling car for Kenyans. The engine is a 4 cylinder 16 valve which gives it enough energy to propel the car that has a displacement of 1794cc for specifics.
The car has a rear wipe and stylish LED Break lights and high mount LED Stop Lamp. Its lamps are improved with better reflector material and this gives it a complete 2010 look.
The car comes in many colors ranging from Silver to Grey, Red, Blue and White.
The Toyota Wish is preferred by many Kenyans since it has ample space on the interior and the trunk. It serves the purpose of the smaller RAV 4 and the Fielder. Lovers of Toyota Caldina also love this car.

There is also enough legroom for the driver and the passenger since the gear lever is placed strategically on the lower dashboard adjacent to the glove compartment.
The new Toyota WISH 2.0 is everything you and your family dream of. A larger engine capacity ensures a more enthusiastic drive, while the spacious cabin accomodates seven adults comfortably. Needless to say, you can easily configure it to meet your exact needs. Coupled with stunning good looks and the best safety in its class, every journey is special with the new Toyota WISH 2.0.
